The wonders of photoshop

Actually I use GIMP.. but our designer type person here uses Photoshop. In fact.. he used it to create these pictures of Steger! (With the help of my trusty Nikon Coolpix camera).

We really do work here.. honestly!

Hi Jeni,

Well, it seems like I have a lot of interesting things for ya. I think you'll like this one.

Ok, you use GIMP. Nice. Same here! But... your friend there is an afficionado of Photoshop. Great! Same here.

Now, what if there was such a thing that combined BOTH!

Aha. Well, you're going to have fun with this one. Let me tell you about a little something called "GIMPSHOP" that we like to use.

And, as you're already guessing, by the name, what it is, is a Photoshop Front-End for GIMP!

In other words, it loads Gimp with all the keyboard shortcuts, and the style and appearance of photoshop, including many of Photoshop's palettes, and tools!

Ok, go load this and have fun! You can get your friend likin' your good old Gimp when you show him this and it works more like they are used to. :)

Ok, first, if you want to see it, here are some screen shots (scroll down): http://plasticbugs.com/?page_id=294

Second, GimpShop not only runs on Linux, but it runs on Mac as well. And also Windows XP.

And finally, here's the link for GimpShop for Windows:

GimpShop for WinXP based on 2.2.4:

GimpShop for WinXP based on 2.2.8:

Cool huh. Let me know if ya like it.

Ok have fun Jeni!
