This post is completely off topic, but today I'm going to the inaugural Hollywood Ashes Twenty20 cricket match. For the Aussie team it appears Steve Waugh and Mike Whitney will be there! Excitement.. also meat pies, which is actually the number one reason to go IMO. Pics are taken from lots of angles, with my lil point and shoot digital cam.. so not great, but pretty!

do you have any other photos? Any close ups?
I'm sorry game gear, but my camera wasn't capable of anything more.. the images I took are large (3072x2304) but aren't really good enough to see faces. I'd be happy to email you them all if you can use them. My camera is a point and shoot. I saw tons of people there with big lenses on SLR's, so you might have better luck elsewhere. Morjana, thanks a bunch for letting me know about that! Looks like the content peeps had set two to be active at the same time, and the page choked! I turned the old one off, and it looks ok now. Will have to work out why the page didn't handle it next week!

I've been browsing your blog mainly because I'm a big stargate atlantis fan and I enjoy looking at behind the scenes photos!
Imagine my surprise when I saw this and thought, "Hang on, ashes?" and then, "Is this Down Under or LA?" because I could have sworn you're in LA...
Of course, I recognise the Wallaby colours and later the cricket colours!
Is that what retired ex-cricket captains turn celebrities do these days? They go over to LA and play celebrity cricket? Wow, what a life :)
Just wanted to say that I really enjoy all the pics you post. Little snippets and off camera moments are always cute to lok at!
